Hi! I'm Dr. Cheri Dodge Chin, creator of the Super Organized SLP.
I'm Dr. Cheri Dodge Chin, ClinScD, CCC/SLP. I am a speech-language pathologist, assistive technology coordinator, educator, national presenter, published researcher, mom of two humans, and two Aussiedoodles. I have 20+ years of experience working in public special education. My friends and coworkers call me organized to a fault and one of the most productive people they have ever met.
Everywhere I look, I see smart, enthusiastic, and dedicated speech pathologists that love their students.
They are people like you with the education, passion, and drive to make a difference in the lives of others – if only they could establish organized systems, effective routines, and planning skills to minimize the time they spend on paperwork.
I created this course to empower SLPs to become organized and develop efficient habits and routines. I don’t want everyone to have to go through the trial and error process that I experienced for two decades. This is your chance to improve your skills and feel prepared for the upcoming year.
What's included in the course?
Module 1 - Preparing your Calendar: You will work through your goals for the year and narrow down your focus to the month, week, and day. This module is going to kick start you into gear to make some pretty big organizational and habitual changes to your life as an SLP.
Module 2 - Preparing for Students: You will dig into identifying your students, teachers, and parents. You will discover how to provide for them. You will learn from step-by-step guides and templates to prepare others as well!
Module 3 - Lesson Planning & Materials: Everyone wants to find easier methods to lesson plan. This module includes several effective methods of organizing materials and a simple way to create monthly lesson plans which will transform your organization for therapy.
Module 4 - Preparing for IEPs & Evaluations: In this module, you will learn how to rock out a data-driven informal assessment and IEP. You will be given tools to directly support your IEP writing skills.
